I have been an avid cyclist for 45 years and involved in bicycle advocacy in one form or another for many of those years. Columbus, Ohio (1972-1983), Silicon Valley, CA (1983-1994), and Research Triangle Park, NC (1994-2015).
I am an advisory board member of the East Coast Greenway Alliance and a long-time member of the League of American Bicyclists, Adventure Cycling Association, and Rails-to-Trails Conservancy.
